The Advanced training lessons are designed for some one with experience in the industry, behind the wheel of a tractor-trailer unit, wishing to upgrade their skills. These lessons are scheduled in blocks of three or more lessons per session and the equipment used is a loaded Super-B-Train and 53' van.

Course Outline:

Class One Combination Unit and 53' van: 24 lessons

Course Content:
• Two hour Advanced Hazard Perception (Theory)

• Daily Pre-trip Inspections

• Intersections and Cornering Manoeuvres

• Highway/Downtown driving

• Mountain Driving

• Safe Backing Procedures

• Coupling/un-Coupling the Super-B

PREREQUISITES

• Class One Licence

• Previous experience behind the wheel of a tractor trailer unit.

Any student whom is not a recent student of Saferway Driver Training School Ltd., or has no valid proof of experience behind the wheel of a tractor-trailer will be required to undergo a minimum three lesson evaluation on a single unit tractor trailer.
