Teaching a student to pass a driver's test is very different than teaching a student the defensive driving and hazard perception skills which will keep a driver safe, alive and collision-free for life. Saferway Driver Training School Ltd. offers Class 1 and 3 Federal Certified HST exempt courses and tax tuition receipts issued upon completion. Non-certified courses are not taxable exempt and subject to HST. Class 2-un-restricted and restricted and Class 4 -un-restricted and restricted professional driver training. We are ready to train you to the highest standard whether you are a learner or an experienced driver ready to upgrade to a higher professional license. Our instructors at Saferway have years of experience with gravel trucks, logging trucks, refrigeration flat decks, dry vans, a-trains to c-trains and super b-trains. Whichever field of expertise you choose, the instructors at Saferway Driver Training School Ltd. will provide dedicated instruction suited to your specific needs to enter the exciting world of professional driving. Saferway offers a wide range of Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced driver training programs. These include training for novices (GLP-Approved conventional Class 7 and senior training) , as well as Professional Driver Training Programs (Fleet Training and Hazard Perception Training Programs)

Certified Motorcycle Training

Our certified motorcycle course teaches the riding skills needed to cope with today’s traffic and hazards. We teach RIDE TO SURVIVE. Training takes you from beginner to the Motorcycle Road Test at ICBC, using our equipment.The course is physically and mentally demanding! Saferway uses 500cc Harley Buells supplied by Steve Drane Harley Davidson.

Saferway Driver Training School Ltd. is an ICBC approved Instructor Training Facility.

Our student enjoy it so much many have come back for other training and have even after many years experience been trained by Saferway in the Instructor Training Field and are now employed as our own Instructors. Now that's dedication.

The job of an Approved Driving Instructor is interesting and very rewarding, for Car and Classroom Instructors. Driving instructors come from all walks of life; teachers, ex-service personnel, factory workers, secretaries, housewives, office, administration staff, salesmen, tradesmen, drivers, commercial operators, the self-employed and many others. The skill of being able to relate to and teach a variety of people is one of the most important attributes that a good instructor must possess. In addition to the people skills, you will also need some degree of self-discipline, professionalism, and a good sense of responsibility that a job such as this requires. Job satisfaction is high. There is nothing like the feeling of a job well done, when a pupil passes their test.
