Saferway Driver Training School Ltd. has become a leader in the driver education and transport training industry, providing quality training since 1968. We are one of the most respected driver training schools in British Columbia.

Saferway is licensed and bonded under the Motor Vehicle Act through the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia (ICBC). We are an appro ved Graduated Licensing Facility and an Instructor Training Facility.

Since 1999, Saferway has been owned and operated by Randy and Donna Eckert. Randy has been working as an instructor since 1995, and has a long history in the transport field. He has been involved in just about all aspects of the commercial transport industry since 1974, from operating a multitude of tractor trailer configurations, engine makes and models, to management, supervisor, public relation positions, and training. Randy is qualified by the Supreme Court of Canada and the BC Provincial court to provide expert testimony in the commercial transport field.

All of our instructors have many years driving experience, and are committed to providing professional, quality instruction, focusing on safety and accident prevention.
