This course is designed for people with the following vehicles:

Motor homes
Motor coaches
Motor homes with a towed vehicle (boat, car etc.)
Tow vehicle and conventional trailer
Tow vehicle and fifth wheel trailer lessons are provided in your vehicle for maximum results!

Observations while driving

Proper braking techniques
Lane positioning
Proper Backing Procedures

Approaching vehicles on side roads

Driving in hazardous weather conditions

In BC, to tow a trailer that weighs more than 4,600 kg, such as a 5th wheel or conventional trailer, and neither the trailer nor your towing vehicle has air brakes, you need:

A Class 1, 2 or 3 driver's license, or
A Class 4 or 5 license with an endorsement 20
If the vehicle is equipped with air-brakes you will need an endorsement 15 – Air Brakes.
To get an air brake endorsement, you must:
Take an approved ICBC air brake course and Pass the Air Brake knowledge test at your local ICBC Driver Service Center

To get an endorsement 20, you must:

Pass the Class 3 knowledge test
Meet ICBC driver vision and medical exam to Class 3 standards
Pass a Class 3 road test using a 5th wheel or conventional trailer
All training will focus on the student’s wants and needs.
